Welcome to Our Patient Portal at Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine, LLP

For the convenience of our families, we are excited to offer a user-friendly Patient Portal. This digital platform enables you to interact with our office remotely, at any time of the day or night.

 

While the Patient Portal is not a substitute for in-person visits, it offers a variety of administrative capabilities to save you time, including:

  • Updating or correcting home addresses and telephone numbers.
  • Printing out immunization records for your child.
  • Scheduling routine appointments for future dates.
  • Sending secure messages to our doctors, administrative staff, or billing department.
  • Requesting prescription refills and insurance referrals to specialists.
  • Reviewing billing statements.

 

Getting Started with the Patient Portal

To activate your account, simply provide your email address to one of our receptionists. You’ll receive a temporary password to get started. Please note, each child needs a separate account for individualized care.

Convenient Mobile Access

Bring the Patient Portal right to your fingertips by downloading the Healow app on your smartphone. Our unique practice code is FJACCA. The Healow app conveniently consolidates all your children’s accounts into one place.

You can find the Patient Portal link on our website, www.pedsny.com, and download the Healow app for on-the-go access.

 

Navigating the Patient Portal

Dashboard: This is your command center. Here, you can quickly review your child’s medications, request refills, and send messages for any necessary corrections. The Dashboard also displays Practice Details, including information about our doctors, office hours, and directions, all of which are also available on our website.

 

Medical Records: Access lab results, track illnesses like recurrent ear infections, and print immunization records for school or camp forms.

 

My Account: Keep your personal information up-to-date and review your billing statements.

 

Messages: Communicate securely with our staff and doctors for non-urgent inquiries. This section is also where you can request prescription refills and specialist referrals.

 

Appointments: Easily schedule routine appointments without waiting on hold. Please specify the age and gender of your child, along with any specific concerns, for each appointment.

 

Questionnaires: Update us on your child’s medical history, including family health details, surgeries, hospitalizations, and allergies, which is especially useful between well-child visits or for first-time appointments.

 

Remember, the Patient Portal is designed for non-urgent communication. For emergencies, please contact us directly by phone.
